Beware of low quality products!
In recent years, the market for panel systems of galvanized wire coated with polymer has been developing rapidly in world. Along with this, unfortunately, there is a growing number of dishonest "manufacturers", sellers and installers of fences. It is quite difficult to distinguish a really high-quality product that meets all the standards and criteria that are declared by the manufacturer. There is a high probability that you are being offered to purchase a fence of a completely different quality that you expected.
What is the difference between the original metal fence and low-quality fake? What does the consumer expect in the near future when using fake products?
1. In the original fences anti-corrosion coating in most cases are polyester powder paints, whereas in fakes most often used cheap PVC materials. What does it threaten us with?
a) Cheap PVC materials are often not only non-certified, but also dangerous to human health.
b) PVC coatings are less heat-resistant, more susceptible to melting, while polyester powder paints, in addition to anti-corrosion protection, have increased resistance to ultraviolet radiation and weathering.
c) The PVC layer is much thicker than the powder paint layer, and accordingly a smaller wire diameter is used, which significantly reduces the rigidity of the structure. For example, take a section with an output diameter of a bar of 5 mm in powder and PVC coating. In the first embodiment, a wire with a diameter of 4.8 mm is used, in the second, only 4.0 mm.
A dishonest manufacturer tries to explain this by saying that the larger the layer, the higher the anticorrosion protection. Do not believe! Only high-quality galvanized wire to fully protect the fence from corrosion, and behind a thick layer of PVC sometimes hides ferrous metal, where there is not a single gram of zinc.
2. Often, fake sections are completed with posts and fasteners made of black raw metal with some kind of coating. The consequences are not long in coming. Already after the first winter, your pillars "will cry with rusty tears"
3. In cheap imitations, poor quality wire is used with a smaller, and sometimes completely missing, layer of zinc. This significantly reduces the rigidity (resistance to deformation) of the structure and its anti-corrosion properties.
4. High quality spot welding of galvanized rods can only be achieved with high-tech equipment.
5. The discrepancy to the previously declared values ??of the diameter of the rod, cell size, height or length of the panel.
All these tricks allow dishonest manufacturers to save and lower the cost of production, for the consumer it will result in loss of product quality, reduction of technical characteristics, performance indicators and even a possible health hazard.
How to recognize a dirty trick and protect yourself from low-quality products?
Always check manufacturer information. Do not be lazy to find reviews, official opinions, etc. concerning the manufacturer or its products.
Try to see live, touch, test, measure, compare samples of the products offered.
A respectable manufacturer is open for cooperation, so with pleasure he can invite you to the production, if you have such a desire.
Compare prices. Very often unscrupulous sellers try to sell a fake under the trademarks of well-known manufacturers at a clearly reduced price!
